I started at eighteen with a printout from a magazine and a tub of something a shop owner told me was essential. Three years later I had put on maybe four kilos, my lower back hurt constantly, and I genuinely believed I had bad genetics.
What actually changed things was boring. Someone finally counted my food. It turned out I was eating around 2,100 calories and calling it a bulk. Two months of measured eating and structured progression did more than the previous three years combined.
That is the entire reason this business exists. Almost nobody is failing because they lack discipline. They are failing because nobody ever gave them accurate numbers and a plan built for their actual life.
Since then I have competed at national and continental level and coached 1,240 athletes — from complete beginners scared of the free-weight section to competitors I have walked to a stage. The system below is the same one I use on myself.
